Does YOUR yard need a makeover? Then you need to see the Curbside Chaos makeover! Check it out here: http://youtu.be/MqeAi_su2ok
I was so excited when I checked out the contest. I love makeovers!! Alas, gardening is one of my bigger passions and my yard isn't in need of any making over. Or I'd go for it right away. But if I had to, I'd add more trees and garden space.
The contest “Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.” is part of an educational effort designed to excite women about the surprisingly simple beauty of flower bulbs. Flower bulbs are amazingly beautiful and easy to care for.
You may not recognize how many beautiful plants are actually bulbs, but visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more about bulbs. Click on the pictures and you'll see just how many vibrant and colorful flowers (from bulbs) there are to choose from.
And bulbs are so easy to plant and care for. But if you haven't worked with them before, the Dig Drop Done website has you covered. From when to plant for your area, which bulbs will thrive in your zone, and everything in between, you'll find what you're looking for.
Bulbs make beautiful garden additions, but also make wonderful centerpieces and gifts. And they are so easy to grow. You can even grow them in containers - indoors!! They make beautiful holiday gifts.
At Dig Drop Done, you can even make selections specific to when you want the flowers to bloom and where you live using the Garden Guru Tool. Here's what I'm planning to plant to have blooms in early May.
The Garden Guru Tool was so easy to use.
Step 1 – Pick your Country
Step 2 – Pick your location within that Country
Step 3 – Choose the type of bulb you want to grow
Step 4 – Check out the Planting Guide that shows you how to plant your bulbs.
What a fantastic way to have all the right information at your fingertips.
The Dig Drop Done was a great wealth of information. They even have bulb "ladies" to fit your personality. I liked Marcy the best.
Marcy is the super mom type that likes to do everything well but without a lot of extra time. She has great tips for doing things quickly and efficiently.
Also, for every share on Twitter with the hastag #CurbsideChaos, "Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done" will donate $1.00 to Rebuilding Together - the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and improve communities.
