Consider a Career in Nursing

With everything that's happening overseas and in our own economy, I can't help but think of viable careers that outlast any economic downturn when I'm speaking with people looking to get into the job market or switch roles.

One of those careers is nursing. Nurses are always in demand (especially with an aging population) and can work anywhere! Your choices in nursing schools are abundant and you can get started and be working very quickly.

One very lucrative part of nursing is travel nursing. I have friends that have worked in this industry and the benefits are tremendous. Not only is it financially beneficial, but you also get a ton of variety and meet new people every day.

If you have the right temperament for nurses (and good nurses are worth gold) then you may want to look into it.
