It seems as though we are always remodeling. Even though our big projects are complete, we are always redecorating. Moving things from one room or another, picking up odds and ends at decorating stores, and swapping out entire pieces.
Want to update your room in a snap? You've probably seen Renu, the newest product from Leviton on the DIY Network. The collection includes switches, combination switches, wallplates, dimmers/remotes, tamper resistant outlets, tamper resistant GFCI outlets, and QuickPort Connectors.
All of them come in 20 popular paint colors so you can blend or contrast with a room's wall color or trim. Who said your electical devices can't add a decorative touch? Plus they are easy to swap out if you change your mind or want to add a different feel to the room. They are so easy - you can do it yourself!!
This is what most of the outlets in my home look like:
Pretty bland. They would definitely pop with some color, but that might be a little too much for me.
I would most likely use these in any rooms where I have really dark paint - like my bathroom, because I like when the outlets blend in and can't be seen. These would also be great for having our outlets disappear in the background of our theater. My daughter would love it if I put pink outlets in her room! She loves vibrant colors that stand out.

If you are interested in receiving a slightly used item I have reviewed and it has been 30 days or less since I posted the article, send me an email. I may still have it and am willing to give it away. I abhor clutter, so I don't keep them for longer than 30 days. I frequently send items to readers and even strangers. The rest go to charities that pick up at my house every month. I will pay shipping as long as it is in the continental US (this blog makes money so I feel it's a cost of doing business.) No promises are made and you accept any used products at your own risk.
