Cascade Complete - 24 Hour Challenge and $15 Walmart Gift Card Givewaway

What if someone asked you to leave your stuck-on dishes lying on the counter for 24 hours? No rinsing. No soaking. No scrubbing. And then, after a day for the stains to really stick, you were allowed to finally wash them?

Well, that's what MyBlogSpark asked me to do. The mission: make a blueberry cobbler, let the pan sit for 24 hours, wash in the dishwasher with Cascade Complete.

I willingly took the challenge. They actually had me at blueberries, but I'm predicable that way. Here's my blueberry cobbler (pecan and coconut crusted blueberry/pineapple cobbler - with no added sugar or grains - just in case you were wondering.)

This is NOT the type of pan I like to leave on the counter....

I reluctantly left the pan on the counter for 24 hours (give or take.) Then I loaded up the dishwasher and loaded in a packet of Cascade Complete.

On a side note, I like these little packets. They ensure that my husband and kids can/will participate in washing dishes. A positive that pretty much undoes a lot of the negatives in my opinion.

So.....how did it come out?

I am so sad to report that my pan did not come out clean. I always use my scrubbies to rub out tough, sticky spots and it pained me to let this go in the dishwasher without at least a little scrubbing. And it so I scrubbed it and sent it back in the dishwasher.
