OH MY GOSH!!! This is perfect. I was sitting in my college class one day and had the perfect idea for a childrens book! I don't want to give it away, but I'll give you a hint - the main character is an apple, and he's quite a suave fellow. ;) Lol! I might actually try out in this contest!!

I'd write a story about a girl pirate who travels the seas capturing whale hunters and seal hunters, and rescuing whales and dolphins and fishes...all beautifully colorfully illustrated!
Oh my word I would love to win this for my ten year old daughter who spends all her time writting! She writes about history and fantasy - she is homeschooled and wants to do a writting based curriculum next year!

If I were to write a children's book it would be about 2 yr. old Josh and his adventure in the back yard, his large yard that has a stream at the back that has lots of ducks and geese and frogs ,with lots of bugs and butterflies
I would write on whatever story my children had in mind. Knowing them, it would be an adventure into a weird and wonderful place.
