Terralina Ultimate Collection Review & Giveaway

As a woman, I never get tired of trying new skincare products. As a mom, I am really concerned about what is IN the products we use. Not that non-moms don't or shouldn't care. I just didn't think much about it until after I had kids.

Still, skincare is an area where I don't go as green or natural as I should. That's why I jumped at the chance to review the products from Terralina. I had the chance to review their Ultimate Collection.

Here's what I loved about it:

1) The entire set came in a reusable gift box and a note encouraging you to reuse the empty bottles.

2) They only contain natural ingredients: Adzuki beans, Chamomilla, Oat, Olive & olive leaf, Olive oil, Shea butter, Soy, White birch bark extract, White tea, and Willowherb

3) They do not contain any artificial colors or fragrances and a whole list of other harmful ingredients

The Ultimate Collection contains 5 different components: 2 cleansers, 2 moisturizers, and a toner.

I really liked the cleansers and the toner, but wasn't the biggest fan of the moisturizers. And here's why: the moisturizers did not absorb into my skin well. I felt like I had to rub them a ton to get them to blend in. And I wasn't a fan of the scent. But I can say that after they were rubbed in, I think they did a solid job of moisturizing.

I didn't wake up super greasy (I used all the products in the evening since they do not have SPF protection and I only use cleansers at night) or dry. I woke up with nice skin - and fyi, that's not always the case.

I liked the cleansers a lot. I really liked the exfoliating cleanser because it was rough. I always expect that from exfoliators but they rarely deliver. This one was as rough as I'd want it to be and I felt like it did a quality job. The gentle cleanser was nice and smooth and removed makeup easily.

Toners are something I don't use often since my skin is naturally dry, but I used the Terralina toner and had no issues. It didn't dry or irritate my skin. It was actually soothing.

Overall, I felt great knowing I was using natural products on my face. I'm glad I had the chance to try it.
