Wonder Hanger: Review & Giveaway

Wonder Hanger
{Congratulations to 3Lilacas #21 for winning the giveaway} It's Spring!! And what better time to go clean up your closets than now! I recently received a set of Wonder Hanger to review and am happy to share my thoughts.

First, here's what Wonder Hanger has to say about their product:

The Wonder Hanger® is an affordable tool that's great for any Spring Cleaning features. This cascading clothes organizer increases closet space by enabling you to stack clothes vertically. Each Wonder Hanger holds 5 wood, metal or plastic hangers. There are 8 hangers to a package – enough to hang 40 garments. The open-mouth design allows you to easily add or remove your jackets, skirts, pants and shirts. Supporting up to 20 pounds, it can hold up to 5 heavy winter jackets.

You can use it to group complete outfits or similar items, organize by color or season, and hang handbags or belts. It retails for $9.99 and can be purchased at major retail chains including Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and CVS and online at www.buywonderhanger.com

And here's what I thought about it. First of all, my closets are so uncluttered my husband wondered why I wanted to review the product. I said "uncluttered," not "organized" or "neat."

Here's an actual picture of the inside of my closet:
This is how my closet looks every day - ignore the wonder hanger in the back because I didn't think about taking a "before" picture until "after," lol. Since putting my few hangers on the 8 wonder hangers would make my closet virtually empty, I used them for something else.

And really this is what I had in mind all along. What I should have done was taken a belt fiasco "before" picture. The wonder hanger rocked for belts. Since all my belts were under control, I almost felt like hunting down a few great belt deals...but I'm on a budget now (so sad.)

But why stop at my belts. I went into my daughter's closet and hung up her belts.
And her unworn shoes (bought at 75% off and waiting to be grown into.)
If I owned purses (or A purse) I would have hung them up too. They were super helpful, and if you have a tightly packed closet, I could imagine they would loosen up the space quite a bit.

If you'd like to try them for yourself, MamaBuzz and Wonderhanger are offering one Suburban Jungle a FREE 8 pack of Wonder Hangers.

I would use these in our laundry room. I wash/fold/hang everything, but kids/fiance are required to collect their stuff. This would make it neater in the laundry room and everyone could just grab their wonder hanger and put it directly in their closet.

I would like to use them in my closet for my silk blouses. These blouses fall off easily and the wonder hangers would sure fix that.

I love these hangers...I can't imagine the difference these would make in the too cramped closet of my two teenage daughters (12 & 14)...as it is I have had to add bars in the most creative spaces in that closet for them...I would also think that these would be great for necklaces and such that my girls have.
