Skin MD - Review & Giveaway

Congratulations to #135 - Michelle. I'm always on the search for healthier, more natural products. I was fortunate to have the chance to try out Skin MD. What is Skin MD? It's a shielding lotion made from natural ingredients like Aloe Vera, Chamomile, and Vitamin E.

What makes Skin MD so different? Besides being all natural, Skin MD binds to the skin like an invisible glove, preventing the environment from penetrating and damaging the skin. It's a completely new concept in skincare. And excellent for the harsh weather that's coming!

My thoughts:
-My skin felt silky smooth immediately after using and the feeling lasted for days.
-The lotion did not have any chemical smells. The SPF lotion had a faint sunscreen scent that quickly faded.
-My hands felt so soft, I almost felt fragile and delicate. lol
-It went on smoothly and did not leave any greasy or wet residue

My concerns:
-I couldn't find any info on whether the product was noncomedogenic or not, so I didn't use it on my face. I would have liked to try it on my face, but since I am prone to acne, I didn't attempt it. It was a great body lotion though.

Want to try it?
-You can buy Skin MD lotions at skinMDNatural.com or click on the site to find a nearby pharmacy that carries it (our Walgreens has it.) One lucky Suburban Jungle reader will win a full size bottle of Skin MD lotion.

To Enter:
-Stop into SkinMDNatural.com and leave me a comment on this post telling me something you learned.

Extra Entries:
-Blog or Tweet about this giveaway - 2 entries - Leave 2 comments (one with a link) - Be sure to include @suburbanjung and a link to this post in your tweet
-Become a Suburban Jungle Follower (Twitter, Feedburner, or Google Friend Connect)- 1 entry each, up to 3 entries - leave up to 3 comments regarding following
-Enter one of my other current giveaways and leave 2 comments (1 telling which one) - 2 entries

This giveaway will end on November 17, 2009 at 9:00 pm EST. The winner will be selected by random.org and notified by email within 1 day of the contest end. The winner will also be identified on this post by November 18th.

This was not a compensated review. I did receive a bottle of SkinMD and 2 spf sample packs to review, but this did not bias my opinion.

I learned that people with thyroid problems can have related skin problems. That could be an issue for my hubby. I'd like to try Skin MD because of hubby's allergies that make it impossible for me to use perfumed products. Skin MD sounds great, and I'd like to give it the old sniff test, and I can't find it in stores, so this is my best chance.

Skin MD Natural™ utilizes the latest developments in skin care technology as well as the most effective natural ingredients to restore your outer layer of skin's natural ability to protect against dangerous toxins and irritants as well as to reduce the loss of natural oils and moisture.
