The snow is piling up here (yes, it's mid-October!) and we've been trapped inside for much of the day. What's a mom and two little kids supposed to do with all that time? Play games of course!!

My Blog Spark sent me two new wonderful games from the Elefun & Friends Collection. The Elefun & Friends collection also includes Elefun, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Gator Golf. You know you love those games, and you're going to love Giraffalaff Limbo and Scatterpillar Scramble too!

Our experience with the games:

Both of these games were bright, cheery, and down-right silly! My kids loved them instantly. We had hours of fun with each game, but I need to give you a few pieces of advice before you try them out for yourselves.

The Scatterpillar scramble is really tough! One game can last a while, but it's excellent for developing hand-eye coordination and good old family competition. If you are playing with younger children, let them use the hands on the inside of the scatterpillar. The outside ones wiggle a lot more and are more challenging to fill.

The Giraffalaff Limbo is all giggles. Literally! The spinner tells you how you must travel under the limbo stick, and somehow we got "crab walk" most of the time. I was the only one to hit the limbo stick, which sends giraffalaff to the ground laughing. Which brought out roars of laughter from my preschoolers! I was maybe a bit big to be trying this sort of limbo, but it is going to be excellent at birthday parties!

Christmas is coming! I know I didn't need to tell you that, but the snow is flying here and it's all we have on our minds. ;) Thanks to My Blog Spark and Hasbro Toys, Christmas is going to be a whole lot more fun for one special Suburban Jungle reader.
