DIY Ribbon Topiary

My daughter loves flowers. She could spend hours in the garden picking flowers, and would love to fill her room with them. Since it's winter and she hasn't been able to pick any flowers lately, we made our own. The supplies to make this topiary cost us $1.07. We have a lot of craft supplies lying around but this would be inexpensive even if you had to buy them.

Here's what we used:
-A used flower pot
-Scraps of ribbons and satin
-A chopstick
-A foam ball shaped Christmas ornament from the dollar store ($1 + tax = $1.07)
-Newspaper to stuff into the flower pot
-Sewing pins

It's super easy to make. Cut small strips of ribbon, form a loop with the ribbon and pin it into the foam ball. Easy and Inexpensive. My daughter loves hers and quickly added it to her room.
